3.  Foundation of Groundwork & Horsemanship – It all begins with an Evaluation

How many times have you heard another rider say, "This horse just does not like that," or, "I've learned that this horse will only (fill in the blank) when he/she is good and ready." How many times have you said it yourself? This two on one 2-day clinic format; John works with the riders on a two on one atmosphere doing ground work at a scheduled time or riding at the same time where he does you do!    Doing Ground work exercises he works with two horses and riders individually a specific time each day and the remainder of the participants watch.  Doing mounted work all the participants work on exercises.  This clinic format is open to all rider abilities, beginners through advanced.  Riders need to ride for a minimum of two days.

4.   Softness & Lightness

Keeping the horse light and developing a soft feel first on the ground so the horse responds without any resistance through the body down to the feet. Then transferring the softness mounted so the horse responds likewise to the riders’ legs, seat and body rhythm.  Mornings on the ground & afternoons mounted!  Horses must be safe and riders need to ride for a minimum of two days.
